The Andres Sarda 2020 swimwear collection draws inspiration from the 1960s and the decade’s colorful, vivid, pop style. This reinterpretation of those revolutionary times has been produced by Núria Sardá and her team, and can be seen in the geometric patterns and bright colors that infuse the whole collection.
The first collection, Mod, is made from an elastic polyamide and Lycra jacquard fabric with bold, contrasting decoration in the form of a thin, elasticated satin band, and comes in three color combinations: bold blue and yellow; optical white with a contrasting black band, and also passionate red with a midnight navy band. When it comes to styles, Andres Sarda will meet customers’ every need. This means that there are two swimsuit models: the traditional style with cups and invisible interior support, and the cross-back with elastic straps, with no lining or cups. Then there are three types of bikini top: unpadded, triangle tied at the neck, and the padded balconette version. The bikini bottoms also come in three styles: regular, the model with ties at each side, and a very high-waisted bikini bottom inspired by the 1980s. In addition to swimwear items, Mod also features a top and miniskirt set.
Naif is based on playing with optics, stripes, and couture cuts that result in striking geometrics. The pieces are made from a very light piqué in polyamide and Lycra. There are two color combinations. The first is tan and yellow with tan and navy blue. The perfectly aligned crossover patterns result in a very elegant play on optics. The second color combination features red, white, and navy blue. As for the styles, there is an eighties-style swimsuit, cut high at the thigh and low at the sides, and another swimsuit model with a v-shaped neckline with removable inner cups and a playful crossover pattern. There are four bikini top models: balconette style, triangle tied at the neck, bandeau, and triangle with underwiring. Then there are three different options for the bottoms: the classic style, with ties at the side and the high-waisted, high-thigh eighties cut. Naif also includes an above-the-knee dress, with a stripe print in the positive and negative color combinations, with a v-shaped cut at the chest and back.
The Imagine collection is made from polyamide and Lycra crochet, and consists of a multicolored pattern with a subtle psychedelic touch. It’s very characteristic of the 1960s, the decade that inspired the whole Andres Sarda 2020 swimwear collection. The collection comes in two color combinations: one hints at the eighties with lime, coral, and light blue, while the other is a more classic cream and navy blue. Imagine included two swimsuit models: one is a V-neck with a teardrop cut-out at the chest, and the other has built-in cups, also with a v-shaped neckline. The bikini bottoms come in two styles: classic, and with ties at the sides. The bikini tops come in three different models: balconette, triangle tied at the neck, and bandeau. The collection is completed with an ankle-length tunic dress, sleeveless, with side cuts, made from crochet.
The Boheme collection is one of Andres Sarda customers’ favorites, thanks to the comfort and elegance it offers. It is made with extra Lycra and offers a very comfortable fit thanks to an extra layer. The styles are smooth and unpatterned, and come in yellow (with a tan lining) and navy blue (lined in bold blue). The design has small, subtle details, such as the hand-plaited back straps, and a branded metal piece. The swimsuit model features built-in cups and a distinctive back, with an original metal piece at the center of the back. The bikini top styles are as follows: balconette with built-in cups, with underwiring, and triangle tied at the neck. The bottoms can be classic, with side ties or the high-waisted retro cut, the popular pin-up style.
Stripes are the star print in the Pop collection, which is made from polyamide and Lycra and a woven material. This collection stars two color combinations: black, red, and tan on the one hand, and white, blue, and beige on the other. Pop comprises two swimsuit styles: one is classic, while the other has a more pronounced V-neck, high waist, and built-in cups. As for the bikini styles, there are four types: bandeau, with cups, with underwiring, and without underwiring, tied at the neck. There are three versions of the bikini bottoms: the classic model, the pin-up model, and the model with side ties. Pop also includes a dress that can be worn both after bathing and as daywear: an ankle-length maxi dress with removable, invisible inner lining.
Power is one of the most visually striking collections. The key is the pairing of stripes and a floral pattern, combined with a paisley print. The collection includes small details in the rings and includes two swimsuits: the classic model with padding and an unpadded triangle model. There are also various bikini combinations, with three tops (triangle halter, padded triangle, and balconette) and three bottoms (mini, side ties, and classic). Power is completed with a very chic short-sleeved, above-the-knee mini-dress in piqué fabric.
The Moon series is probably the sexiest of the current Andres Sarda swimwear collection. It is made from Lycra and polyamide, and is characterized by a strip of small sequins. It comes in black and gold. Moon consists of two swimsuit models: a halterneck tie with a plunging neckline that almost reaches the waist, and another with a straight-cut neckline and thin straps. The bikinis allow various combinations: three types of bottoms (the classic, one with side ties, and the culotte model) and four tops (with padding, without padding, triangle that ties at the neck, and strapless bandeau). The collection is completed with an ankle-length maxi dress, with straps and a strip of sequins at the chest.
The subtle snakeskin print is the absolute star of Peace, which features this pattern with a gray finish on a white background. The collection is dotted with silver beads on the straps. Peace has a single swimsuit in a classic cut with spaghetti straps. As for bikinis, there are four types of top (bandeau, unpadded, triangle, and padded) and three bottoms (classic, with side ties, and a dramatic high-leg model inspired by the 1980s). Two very special items of clothing complement the collection: a full-length jumpsuit that can be tied at the waist, and an elegant, ankle-length kaftan with long sleeves and side openings.
Quant is a mini collection with two very special items of clothing. The first is a mini-dress in white with navy blue stripes. The second is a tunic-style kaftan dress in embroidered cotton, which comes in three colors: white, yellow, and blue.
