The lingerie collection by the Andres Sarda brand for this coming Autumn/Winter season takes inspiration from exclusive adventure sports enjoyed in the great outdoors, such as skiing and horse riding. The different ranges are named after ski resorts dotted across the world: status symbols which represent the raw, wild side of nature. The contrast between the comfort and elegance of Andres Sarda lingerie and the outdoor sports enjoyed in settings as iconic as Aspen or Gstaad, is at the heart of a collection which blends indulgent detail, quality, comfort, and sensuality.
The alpine village of Verbier, located in the Swiss canton of Valais, at the foot of Mont Blanc, gives its name to a collection made from the finest elastic and smooth microfibre, which fits like a glove. The Verbier pieces have a selvedge trim; there’s no need for elastic hems or seams, making these designs very lightweight. The microfibre is combined with an embedded elastic Leavers lace strip. The range includes little decorative, golden hoop details. It’s a highly functional and practical collection, designed for everyday wear, yet it’s also very feminine and elegant. Verbier comes in three colours: nude (the perfect, invisible stone shade), black (a staple winter colour), and cherry (the trendy tone for this coming season). The regular types of bra are available: soft, underwired, padded, push-up, and bralette (underwired bra with body). There are three styles of brief: classic, thong, and a high-waisted design with exceptionally glamorous lace. The range includes a body with a low-cut back (perfect for backless outfits) and built-in cups.
Gstaad, the Saint-Tropez of the Alps, gives its name to another range in the Andres Sarda Autumn/Winter 2018 collection. It’s made from elastic satin combined with elastic Leavers lace. Its print is one of the jewels in the collection’s crown, with its eye-catching pattern and bold, rather psychedelic shapes. The other key shade in the range is stone combined with burgundy. Gstaad is available in all of the regular Andres Sarda bra styles: soft, underwired, padded, push-up, and balcony, as well as an exclusive design with a plunging neckline, a unique back, and a distinctively sensual style. The briefs come in different designs: classic, tanga, and mini-tanga. Gstaad also includes satin shorts, which can be worn as outerwear with a satin and lace top.
Aspen, in Colorado, is the upmarket ski capital of the United States. It’s also the name of a collection dedicated to highlighting the beauty of lace. It’s made from the finest, sumptuous, elastic Leavers lace, and its floral-patterned print is taken from the vintage collections of history’s best lace manufacturers. The collection includes a pleated fabric design, which sets it apart from other lace ranges. Rose gold patterns also sparkle on the straps and briefs. Aspen comes in three shades: classic white, anthracite (which is paired with a red strap), and petrol blue. In terms of bra types, Aspen offers an exclusive design, with a very decorative, side-fastening, lace back and a matching mini-thong, as well as the classic styles (padded, unpadded, and push-up). The range also includes a full lace brief, in response to one of our market demands. Another outstanding piece is a body with a plunging V-neck and a little overlaid pleated skirt.
Megève, located in the Rhône-Alpes region, in the Haute-Savoie department of France, only 70 kilometres from Geneva, gives its name to the most sumptuous range in the Andrés Sardá collection for this coming Winter season. Megève is a sight to behold: it combines haute couture Chantilly lace with the finest French silk on the straps and cups. The range comes in two colour combinations: black lace with bottle green, and brick red lace with bottle green. The classic types of brief are available, in a blend of silk and lace (briefs, thongs, thong shorts, and Italian briefs), alongside the classic types of bra (soft, underwired, padded, balcony, triangle, and push-up). In addition, Megève includes two exclusive sequinned pieces, in black and green: a triangle brief design, a mini-tanga with a silk back, and a ready-to-wear bomber jacket with silk kimono sleeves.
Eden is the everlasting range, made from tulle and lace, which is reworked by Andres Sarda every season. This time round, the designs come in anthracite and black lace. There’s a new creation: a soft, padded, triangle bra, as requested by our customers. A very classic combination which has become a staple for the brand.
The Andres Sarda lingerie and swimwear company is over half a century old. Its European heritage and outstanding quality, in terms of design and materials, are two of its trademarks. Andres Sarda has over 500 dedicated retail outlets around the world. In 2015, the Spanish Ministry of Culture presented the brand with the National Design Award, in recognition of its long history and prominence in the fashion world. Today, Núria Sardá is at the helm, and her philosophy has always centred on creating designs which make women feel beautiful, confident, and comfortable in their own skin. In the words of Núria Sardá: ‘Lingerie made by women, for women.’
